The decade kicked off with memes about 2020 vision, and yet hardly anyone could have seen what was to come. This year has been tough for many, particularly those in the hospitality industry, both in London and across the country. Travel was brought to an abrupt halt from overseas and even within the UK we’ve been in flux for much of the year. The uncertainty has made it difficult to plan ahead, and yet we’ve taken this opportunity to look to our strengths.
London is more than just a city… it is culture, people, places, shopping and nightlife, and we’re sure that people who’ve been unable to experience it in 2020 will be craving their London fix. That’s why throughout the year we’ve been working to make the business even stronger for when more guests can return. We’ve rebranded to Stayo, overhauling our look to make it fresh and more relevant, and complimented that with a new energy in our social media.
As we move into 2021, we’re excited about our plans for the year ahead. We’ll be rolling out a better customer experience with a class leading digital platform to make booking and managing trips easier. We’ll be both expanding the portfolio and remodelling our apartments to bring a more engaging experience to our customers, that brings to life our promise of Like home, but better.
We’ll be widening our offer by launching Experiences on our website, helping guests to get the most out of their trips. And we’ll also be doubling down on our sustainability credentials, looking right across the business to ensure we’re taking steps to reduce our footprint, while delighting our team and customers at the same time.
Of course, we couldn’t be where we are now, or looking to the future with such optimism without our incredible customers and team. We want to say a huge thank you to all who have supported us this year and we hope to see many of you again soon.
