Shop and stay this December

With Christmas just around the corner, the question on many people’s mind is ‘what can we do this December in London?’

London is currently in tier 2 Covid-19 restrictions but what exactly does that mean for travellers this December.

Travel within your household bubbles is allowed and with retail open, it is a great chance to get Christmas ready while supporting the high street.

Travelling

Overnight stays are allowed with people inside your current household bubble – so if you live with someone you can travel with them.

Meeting up with friends and family

Tier 2 restrictions allow up to six people to meet up outdoors.

Christmas shopping

Non-essential retail is open which includes the bulk of the high street so Christmas shopping in person is allowed (mask and social distancing measures do apply).

Eating and drinking

With takeaway service available at most restaurants now, you can take advantage of the dining table in your Stayo home and enjoy a meal in your own private space. Pubs and restaurants are open and welcoming customers back too but as with before lockdown, it is table service or takeaway only.
